Revolution. 2012. Poly canvas (110x170cm)The image is staged to recreate the 19th-century painting "La liberté guidant le peuple" by Eugène Delacroix. The work is located at the Louvre in Paris, France. It has been in my memory ever since my childhood when I visited the museum, at the same time it is part of our collective consciousness. Through this project, I want to update all the revolutions of the people of our time. Bilden är iscensatta för att återskapa 1800-tals målningen ”La liberté guidant le peuple” (Friheten leder folket) av Eugène Delacroix. Verket som finns på Louvren i Paris, frankrike. Den har funnits i mitt minne ända sedan min barndom då jag besökte museet, samtidig är den en del av vårt kollektiva medvetande. Genom denna projekt vill jag aktualisera alla revolution av folket i vår samtid. |
