Alma and Martha are 11 years old in 2015. Michel is dad to Alma and Johanna is mom to Martha. The girls live alternately in our place. I wanted to create a personal depiction of their everyday life right now in Sweden. What affects them? What is important? The project continued for one year. Every week we document their thoughts in a given theme. Through photography, movies and personal material connected to social media, I tried to portray their lives. The issues and starting points are everyday situations and current performances: How important are friends, free time? Mobile phone? TV? Computer games? School and learning? Ma-ten? Appearance, clothes? How does their relationship look like adults? At the end of the period I gathered all the information and created the exhibition that featured in "Best Biennale". Visitors were given the opportunity to share their own experiences and become part of the project.
Alma och Martha är 11 år. Michel är pappa till Alma och Johanna är mamma till Martha. Tjejerna bor växelvis hos oss. Jag ville skapa en personlig skildring av deras vardag just nu i Sverige. Vad påverkar? Vad är viktigt för dem? Projektet fortgick under ett år. Varje vecka dokumenterar vi deras tankar i ett givet tema. Genom fotografi, film och eget material kopplade till sociala medier försöker vi skildra deras liv. Frågeställningar och utgångspunkt är vardagssituationer och aktuella föreställningar: Hur viktiga är vännerna, fritiden?Mobiltelefon? Tv-tittande? Dator spel? Skolan och lärande? Maten? Utseende, kläder? Hur ser deras relation ut till oss vuxna ut? I slutet av perioden samlade vi all information och skapade utställningen som ingick i ”Bästa biennal”. Besökarna fick möjlighet att dela med sig av egna erfarenheter och blir en del av projektet.
